Charities Supported by Lani Kai Photography
Lani Kai Photography will donate 10% of the fulfilled package in the Client/Clients name to the following charities:
• The American Red Cross
• The Wounded Warrior Project
• Angel Flight
To introduce you to these charities I have included the mission statements of each charity below.
American Red Cross: Since its founding in 1881 by visionary leader Clara Barton, the American Red Cross has been the nation's premier emergency response organization. As part of a worldwide movement that offers neutral humanitarian care to the victims of war, the American Red Cross distinguishes itself by also aiding victims of devastating natural disasters. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, always with the aim of preventing and relieving suffering. Today, in addition to domestic disaster relief, the American Red Cross offers compassionate services in five other areas: community services that help the needy; support and comfort for military members and their families; the collection, processing and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products; educational programs that promote health and safety; and international relief and development programs.
Wounded Warrior Project: The mission of Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Our purpose is: to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women; to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other; and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members.
Angel Flight: Founded in 1996, Angel Flight Northeast provides free flights so children and adults can access medical care for as long and as often as needed. We are a volunteer corps of over 1,800 private pilots and Earth Angels who combine our love of flying with the spirit of grassroots volunteerism by flying patients and their families to the critical health care they need. We provide air transportation in private aircraft by volunteer pilots so that children and adults may access life saving medical care free of charge. We are also a vital mode of transportation for organs, blood and for patients awaiting organ transplants. Since our founding, we have answered over 60,000 flight requests and have flown almost ten million miles.
* This program begins for all packages booked and fulfilled beginning November 2013.
